Aquamarine

Traditionally, aquamarines has been associated with a joyous marriage and prosperity. Sailors carried it for good luck. Iron gives the stone its color, which is relatively hard, ranging 7 to 8 on the Mohs scale. The deeper the color, the more valuable the stone. Aquamarine is often chosen at the birthstone for March and some of the best rough material comes from Brazil.
Why don't we have a detailed FRE rating for our gemstones? The simple answer is that
the supply chain does not yet exist.
