Turquoise

Turquoise, which is December's birthstone, has been highly valued by Native peoples, and is associated with earth knowledge. Turquoise has been valued throughout the world, and for thousands of years. Turquoise from a mine just south of our Santa Fe home was traded in prehistoric South America. Most of our turquoise is of the blue range, and mined in the American Southwest.
