Delivery time: The sooner your order your rings, the better! For Michael’s Mokume Gane’ rings please allow three weeks production, plus shipping time. Please enter the date you need the rings in the Date Jewelry Needed box during checkout. This will help us make sure the rings arrive in time. Please enter the real date you need the rings. We will not start making a ring for you unless we are certain we can meet an agreed upon deadline for delivery. Writing ASAP in the date box will delay your order because we will have to contact you to find the real date to before starting the rings!

Correct Sizing is Mandatory! Please be certain of your ring size, to the ¼ size, before ordering. Any jewelry store should be able to size you. For rings by Michael Parrish, use a narrow band sizer or a comfort fit sizer. Do not use a wide band sizer for these rings due to the convex nature of comfort fit rings. Michael’s rings are all sized to the center of the ring.

Please do not guess on the size or use another ring for comparison! Because of the nature of Mokume Gane’, they are not easily re-sized. In fact Engagement Rings can not be re-sized beyond perhaps a 1/4 size enlargement without having to remake the entire ring, at the commensurate cost. The wedding bands have slightly more leeway. However each resize for these is taken on a case by case basis and we will have to quote you once Michael has received the ring back for resize.

Mokume Gane’ is comprised of four separate then blended layers of different metals. When trying to resize these, each of the four metals will react differently to the resizing process.

Our ring sizes are based on the U.S. and Canadian standard. If you are ordering from a country that uses a different standard (such as Britain, France, Germany, Switzerland, or Japan) please state (in the comments section during checkout) your ring size and the standard on which your size is based, and we will convert it.

We can engrave your ring for you here in Santa Fe. The cost is $5 per letter, with a minimum fee of $20. Symbols, such as &, are considered letters for engraving. Please note that Engraved wedding rings are non-returnable and non-refundable. It’s possible to engrave your ring at any time, before or after the ceremony. It takes approximately one week. Rush engraving is possible. If you want us to engrave your ring, please call us to make sure we get the right information. Please note that once your Mokume Gane’ ring has been engraved, it cannot be returned.

Engagement/Wedding Rings Sets: Since the rings are made individually by hand, if you order an engagement ring and want a matching wedding ring, you must order the set at the same time or they will not match. If you order them separately and want them to match you will need to send us the first ring so we can match the next one to it.

Deposit: 50% of the order total for wedding rings will be charged when the order is received. The balance will be charged when the order is shipped.

30 Day Returns: Our wedding rings are unconditionally guaranteed and may be returned within 30 days for a refund if the ring is in original condition. There is a 15% restocking fee for returning Katherine Aberle rings.

If you wish to avoid the restocking fee, you can also choose to receive 100% store credit, good for the purchase of anything on www.artisanweddingrings.com, www.celticjewelry.com, or www.carouselbeads.com. With this option, you are allowed only one exchange and it is non-returnable.

In returning a ring, please package it carefully and insure the shipment for the price of the item, as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping. The restocking fee does not apply to engagement ring center diamonds. In most cases, a refund check will be issued, within ten business days of receipt of the returned item.
