From mine to market, we support a small, potent network of people attempting to bring exceptionally ethical jewelry to the market.

Marc wrote the seminal article for the national publication Modern Jeweler on the Madison Dialogs - a sector wide initiative to bring fair trade practices from mine to market.

At present, no fair trade standards for exist for jewelry manufacturing. However, at a cross sector, Marc Choyt, who co-owner of Reflective Images, co-leads of an international committee comprised of leaders in the jewelry sector that developing fair trade standards. In reaction to all the greenwash and "fairwash" spin, we developed an open source system for transparency that is considered by many a best practice in the jewelry sector. See our FRE system on our Celtic Jewelry website. This has been written up in trade magazines.

We also published the Ethical Jewelry Handbook, a free e-book written for those in the jewelry sector looking to adopt exceptional standards.
