Reflective Images Introduces New Designs At The Buyer's Market Of American Craft
SANTA FE, NM, February 7, 2005 – Reflective Images is presenting over forty new 18K gold over sterling silver designs at the Buyer's Market of American Craft in Philadelphia on February 18, 2005. This includes new series of earrings, pendants and bracelets and the introduction of tanzanite, rubies, sapphires and emeralds gypsy set into some of their classic designs. The company is also introducing a series of locket watches.
The company was founded by Helen Chantler in 1995. She grew up in England and the Far East and graduated with a degree in South East Asian Studies at the University of Wisconsin before learning to make jewelry in Santa Fe. Her work has been internationally recognized as one of the most innovative, contemporary Celtic inspired jewelry designers in the world. Working with 18K gold and sterling, Ms. Chantler draws inspiration from museums and archeological sites world wide.
Mary Healey, a member of the Chickasaw tribe, creates work that combines a fusion of neo-tribal element, both European and Native American. She originally started out as Chantler's apprentice in 1995, and has been designing jewelry for Reflective Images since 1999. She grew up in Oklahoma.
Reflective Images is in its tenth year of business and has had nine years of double digit growth. It employs eleven people. It hired three people in 2004 and is currently in the process of hiring two more.
