Celtic Fun

The ancient Celtic Trinity symbol reminds me of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. The deep red color of the garnet reminds me that Jesus shed His blood for my sins. When I wear the necklace the symbol will be close to my heart and remind me of my beloved husband. Being close to my heart, the color red and the Trinity symbol reminds me that some day I will join my beloved husband, who died from leukemia, in heaven. If I had to use just one word to describe what garnet means to me, it would be LOVE.

My fiance's birthday is in January, the knot on the bottom is the tattoo on my left shoulder. That knot for me represents two things... the maiden, mother, and crone and also the cycle of life... birth, life, death and back to rebirth..

The story of the love of my life, my Richard. Paths that had been interconnected before we even met almost 40 years ago, an ease with each other that required no conversation, and for a brief time an emptiness that no amount of friends or solace could fill. The gift of a complete and true love, running through my blood like fire and only deepening with time. This is what I see in this timeless creation.

The trinity knot calls to me. I have always felt an affinity for anything in groups of three but this knot has always seemed like the most perfect "3" to me.

The color is a sign of boldness and strength, protection. The trinity always gives me that sense of connection to the ancient ones.

I think it's a beautiful necklace and a lovely way to honor the Goddess.

My grandmother was born in Ireland, from the Aran island of Inis Mor. What a brave woman she was to come to America on her own. This necklace to me means my heart is in Ireland even though I have yet to get there..... someday soon.
